I emailed, and called, about my booking, and didn’t hear back from anyone for days. It was frustrating, and made the whole process feel really unorganized

I had a good time overall, and I can see it being worth it if you’re going for a special occasion or really into this kind of thing. For me, though, at full price it felt a little too expensive for what you get. I’d probably go again if there was a discount or promotion.

I booked a spot online for me and my cousin because we’d been talking about going here for weeks, but when we showed up, the time they had on their end was different from what I booked. The staff was friendly and tried to help, which I appreciated, but it still threw off our plans and we ended up waiting around longer than expected. Once we finally got in, we had a good time, so the place itself is fun. I just really hope they tighten up the reservation system so this doesn’t happen to other people.

It was my first time axe throwing, and the staff did go over the basics, which I appreciated. But after that, it kind of felt like we were just pushed along quickly. I wasn’t totally sure if my throw was even right, and part of me wondered if they were more focused on keeping things moving than actually helping beginners. Still had some fun, but I definitely wish there had been more guidance before getting started

The place was alright overall, nothing too bad, but the staff didn’t really make me feel welcome. They came off kinda rude and not very helpful when I needed something.

The staff was nice enough, which almost made up for it, but the equipment looked like it had seen better days. The axes felt worn, and a couple of the handles seemed loose, which made the whole thing feel a little unsafe. It’s a cool idea for a place, but the gear really needs to be checked more carefully before I’d feel good about going back.

The whole event was a mess. Nobody seemed to know what was going on, and it felt like a bunch of clueless amateurs were just winging it the entire time.

I don’t know, the class felt rushed to me. The instructor didn’t really explain much, or at least not in a way that helped me understand. I was kind of left trying to figure things out on my own.

Overall, it was fine, but I do wish the cancellation policy had been a little more flexible (life happens, you know?). It felt kind of strict for my situation, and having a bit more wiggle room would’ve made the experience better.

I had a fun time here overall. The place has a good energy and people seemed to be there just to enjoy themselves and be decent to each other. It did get a little loud, so it might not be the best spot if you’re trying to have a quiet conversation, but the atmosphere was still really enjoyable

It was an okay experience overall. The place was comfortable, but the floors definitely could’ve used a good cleaning because it felt a little dusty. Compared to a few other places I’ve been to, this one wasn’t quite as well kept, though it wasn’t terrible either.

I tried booking through burythehatchet.com it kind of threw me off right away. I just wanted to pick a time and be done with it, but the site kept making me go back, double-check things, and second-guess what I had already selected. Maybe it was me, maybe it was the layout, but the times weren’t super clear and I kept thinking, wait, did I pick the right slot or not?

The total price also didn’t feel obvious until later in the process, which I really didn’t love. I don’t mind paying, obviously, but I like knowing what I’m committing to before I’ve clicked through a bunch of screens. It felt like I had to do too much digging for basic info that should’ve just been right there.
By the end, I didn’t really feel confident about the booking, which is annoying because it should’ve been such a simple thing. Pick a date, pick a time, see the price, book it. Instead I was sitting there clicking around and getting irritated, and it just made the whole process feel like more of a hassle than it needed to be.

Our coach was really helpful and made everything easy to follow, which I think most people would appreciate, especially if they’re new to it. It took a little while to get started, but once we were going, it was a lot of fun. I’d definitely come back again with friends.

Booked a private event here with a group of friends, and overall... we had a good time. The axe throwing was genuinely fun, and the staff did a solid job explaining the basics so everyone felt comfortable jumping in.

I had my birthday party at Bury the Hatchet and it ended up being a really fun choice. Most of us had never tried axe throwing before, but the guy helping our group explained everything in a simple way and made it feel safe without hovering too much.

The only reason I’d give it 4 stars is that it felt a little rushed near the end, and check-in took longer than I expected. Still, everyone had a good time, and it was a useful idea if you want something different from the usual dinner or drinks...
